FULL ESTATE CLEAN OUT
Charges can be deducted from first consignment cheque providing we feel there are ample consignments to cover the full cost; otherwise a deposit may be required.
Services we offer:
We co-ordinate everything, so you don’t need to worry about a thing.
First, we recommend that you remove anything from the home that you want to keep, but if we discover any important documents or photographs, we will return them to you.
$30.00 due on visit to your home but it is refunded on your first cheque.
- In home evaluation-We look at the items and decide what would be good for the store or auction and what we need to dispose/donate.
- Our packers move quickly and are able to sort your items much easier than you would as they have no emotional ties to the items. They simply go through room by room and sort into 5 categories-consignment, auction, returns, donate and dump, with dump always being the last choice. Returns would be of the personal nature such as important documents and photographs that we feel you may want.
- We pack up everything and deliver the saleable items to the store or auction house and the non saleable items are also removed.
- All packing materials are provided.
You may also want to add:
- Entire home cleaning to your specifications.
- Home staging and furniture rental service
- *Concierge service (10% less than normal consignment)
- *Concierge service is offered for consignments that would normally be donated, disposed or sold at auction because they are dirty or in need of repair. These are items we feel could be sold in our store with a little TLC. We will clean your items and make any necessary repairs to them to bring them to a condition we feel is acceptable in our store. There may be additional charges for parts or hardware. We only fix/clean items that we feel the repair cost would be offset enough by the consignments.
Additional charges
- Dumping fees (by weight as charged by the city)
- Delivery fees
- Packing fees (hourly rates apply)
- Consignment fee is 50% or 40% on the concierge service.
- Auction fee is 50/50. Whatever we get, we give you 1/2. These are items that would have been donated or disposed.
- 10% administration fee on all delivery, dumping and staging fees.
