Shipping Policy

Décor on a Dime – Shipping Policy

We currently sell and ship paint and jewellery items only. 

Shipping Locations

We ship within Canada only.
We do not ship to PO Boxes.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
During sales, holidays, or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Local delivery:
Free local delivery is available on Annie Sloan Chalk Paint orders over $50 within the Hamilton area. This is generally done in 1-3 days. 

Paint Shipping & Weather Conditions

Paint is sensitive to extreme temperatures. In cold weather, we add a heat pack to the box. These packs will keep the temperature regulated for a few days however paint sitting outside on a porch may freeze (becoming unusable)  if left more than a few hours. Please ensure someone is available to bring the product indoors within a few hours.

During very cold or extreme weather, paint orders may be delayed to prevent freezing. 

• Décor on a Dime is not responsible for damage caused by freezing once an order has shipped.
  

• We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders where shipping conditions may compromise product quality, including extreme temperatures or remote delivery locations

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Once an order has shipped, Décor on a Dime is not responsible for carrier delays.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

• Include photos of the packaging and items

We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.
